LoanClarify (ABN 57 816 183 399) ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

This policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.

What we collect

  • Calculator inputs — financial data you enter into our tools (income, expenses, credit score, etc.). This is used only to generate your result. It is not stored unless you submit the email capture form.
  • Name and email address — collected only when you voluntarily request your results by email, with your explicit consent.
  • Assessment result — stored in our database linked to your email so we can send you your result summary and, where applicable, so a specialist can follow up about your options.

How we use your information

  • To send you your assessment result by email
  • To connect you with a specialist broker if you request this
  • To improve our tools and content (aggregated, anonymised)

Who we share it with

When you submit your details through our forms — including the assessment result form and the "Speak to a specialist" form — we may provide your name, email, and assessment result to a licensed credit specialist (a finance broker) so they can follow up with you about your options. We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not share it directly with lenders.

Data retention

Assessment results and lead records are retained for 2 years, after which they are deleted. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. Contact us at the address below.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — which pages are read, which calculators are completed, and how people arrive. It sets cookies to recognise returning visits.

We have configured it to collect as little as possible. Advertising cookies, advertising identifiers, and personalised advertising are switched off entirely and never enabled — we do not advertise and we do not build advertising profiles. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.

Analytics data is not linked to the details you submit through our forms, and the figures you enter into the calculators are never sent to Google. You can opt out entirely using Google's browser opt-out add-on or your browser's Do Not Track and cookie settings.
